【具体年龄】 
　　英语中表示具体年龄可只用数词，也可在数词后加years old或years of age。如果年龄在句中作状语，需在数词前加介词。例如： 
　　1.Ｈe is forty years old．他40岁了。 
　　2．I went abroad to study at twenty／at twenty years of age．我20岁时出国深造。 
　　【大概年龄】 
　　1)大概年龄在英语中要用年龄段来表示： 
　　表13岁到19岁之间的大概年龄常用in one’s teens或below twenty。例如： 
　　My brother is in his teens．我弟弟十来岁了。 
　　2)二十几岁、三十几岁、四十几岁等分别用in one’s twenties，in one’s thirties，in one’s forties等来表示。 
　　3）“不满……岁”用below…/under…来表示。例如： 
　　They are all children under five years old．他们都是不满五岁的孩子。 
　　4)“快到……岁”、“接近……岁”用get on for...或nearly...来表示。例如： 
　　He is getting on for sixty．/He is nearly sixty．他快60岁了。 
　　5)“已过……岁”用more than...，above...，over...等。例如： 
　　I am sure he is over(more than)forty(years old)．我肯定他超过40岁了。 
　　6)表一个人“年迈”用be advanced in years。表一个人“长寿”用long-lived或a great age。例如： 
　　My grandfather is advanced in years．我爷爷年事已高。 
　　You will live to a great age．你会长寿。 
　　【与……同龄】 
　　表示“与……同龄”常用…of your age/the same as…/as old as三种句式。例如： 
　　I am of your age．我与你同岁。 
　　或：I am the same as you． 
　　或：I am as old as you．
