一、反身代词的作用：
　　1.作某些动词的宾语
　　Make yourself at home 请随便／不要拘束。
　　He jumped off the wall and hurt himself 他从墙上跳下来，摔伤了腿。
　　I can’t express myself in English 我不能用英语表达思想。
　　He is teaching himself Japanese 他在自学日语。
　　2.作介词宾语
　　She is worried about herself 她为自己担心。
　　Be strict with yourself 律己要严。
　　3.作表语,用于be，feel，look等后，表示感觉、情绪或状态。
　　He isn’t quite himself these days 他近来身体不太舒服。
　　She feels more herself today 她今天感觉好多了。
　　He looked himself yesterday 他昨天看起来挺正常。
　　4.作同位语。在句中作名词或代词的同位语，用于强调名词或代词的语气，作“亲自”、“本人”等解
　　1）作主语的同位语
　　反身代词作主语的同位语，可置于主语后或句末。如：
　　You yourself can’t operate the computer，you can ask someone else to help 你自己不会用电脑，可以请别人帮忙。
　　I cooked a delicious meal myself 我亲手做了一顿美餐。
　　2）作宾语的同位语
　　反身代词作宾语的同位语时，只能跟在宾语之后。如：
　　You’d better ask the headmaster himself about it 你最好问校长本人。
　　I sent the letter to your sister herself 我把信送给你姐姐本人。
　　5.有时也可作主语
　　Both my sister and myself all study in the same university 我和我妹妹都就读于同一所大学。
　　二、反身代词构成的短语：
　　1.by oneself 独自一人，独立地；自动地
　　He lives by himself(=alone) 他独身一人。
　　I can work out this math problem by myself 我自己能解出这道题。
　　The machine runs by itself 这台机器自动运转。
　　2.enjoy oneself 玩得高兴，过得愉快
　　The girls always enjoy themselves 这几位女孩一直过得很快活。
　　3.help oneself自己帮自己，自己突破难关
　　God／Heven helps those who help themselves 天助自助者。〈谚语〉
　　4.help oneself to sth 随意使用……(用于招待客人)
　　Please help yourself to some fish 请吃点鱼。
　　5.come to oneself苏醒，恢复意识
　　The wounded man came to himself soon 伤员很快就苏醒了。
　　6.for oneself 为／给自己
　　One should not live for oneself alone 人不能只为自己活着。
　　You will have to judge for yourself 你得自己来判断。
