1.这些衣服太旧了，请把它们拿走。
[误] These clothes are too old. Please take away them.
[正] These clothes are too old. Please take them away.
[析] take away 意为“拿走，带走”，属于“动词+副词”型短语动词。其宾语为代词(it, them等)时，应将代词置于动词和副词之间；其宾语为名词时，则该名词位于副词前后均可。类似的短语还有look up，take off, try on, put off等。
2.她哥哥在英语学习上有困难。
[误] Her brother has a difficult time to learn English.
[正] Her brother has a difficult time learning English.
[析] have a difficult time doing sth.意为“难于做某事”，属于一种固定搭配，该结构中的doing不能用to do来代替。
3.这本故事书很有趣。
[误] This story book is very interested.
[正] This story book is very interesting.
[析] interested和interesting都表示“有趣的”。表示人对物感兴趣常用interested，即sb.+be interested；而表示事物本身颇具趣味时应用interesting，即sth. + be interesting in。又如：The film is very interesting and I’m interested in it. 这部电影很有趣，我对它很感兴趣。
4.石头太重，她搬不动。
[误] The stone is too heavy for her to carry it.
[正] The stone is too heavy for her to carry.
[析] 在too…to…结构中，后面的动词不定式与主语存在着逻辑上的动（介）宾关系时，不定式的动词（或介词）后就不宜再使用it/ them等代词作宾语。
5.这盒录像带我可以借多久？
[误] How long can I borrow the videotape?
[正] How long can I keep the videotape?
[析] borrow是一个终止性动词，不能与一段时间状语连用，这时就要用keep来代替borrow。
6.不但她父母，而且她的弟弟都喜欢看足球比赛。
[误] Not only her parents but also her brother are fond of watching football games.
[正] Not only her parents but also her brother is fond of watching football games.
[析] not only…but also…用来连接两个并列的主语时，谓语动词的单、复数应遵循“就近原则”，即与but also后面的名词或代词的数保持一致。
7.这所小学的学生大约有三千人。
[误] The number of the students in the primary school are about three thousand.
[正] The number of the students in the primary school is about three thousand.
[析] the number of意为“……的数量”，后面接复数名词，谓语动词应用单数形式。
8.保护周围的环境对我们来说是很重要的。
[误] It’s important of us to protect the environment around us.
[正] It’s important for us to protect the environment around us.
[析] 句型“It+ be + 形容词+ (of/ for sb.) to do sth.”意为“对某人来说做某事是……的”，其中it为形式主语；of/ for sb. to do sth.为动词不定式的复合结构，在句中作真实主语；表客观情况的一类形容词（如easy, hard, difficult, necessary, important, impossible等），后跟介词for；表主观感情或态度的一类形容词（如good, nice, kind, clever, foolish, wise, right, wrong, careful, careless等）时，后跟介词of。
9.虽然我们都有黑眼睛黑头发，但是我的头发比她的短。
[误] Although we both have black eyes and black hair, but my hair is shorter than hers.
[正] Although we both have black eyes and black hair, my hair is shorter than hers.
[析] although为从属连词，意为“虽然，尽管”，引导让步状语从句；不能与but同时使用。
10.23岁的女孩尚文婕赢得了2006年度超女冠军。
[误] Shang Wenjie, a 23-years-old girl, won the 2006 Super Girl Voice champion.
[正] Shang Wenjie, a 23-year-old girl, won the 2006 Super Girl Voice champion.
[析] 在“数词+名词+形容词”构成的复合形容词中，中间的名词应用单数形式。
