主语是一个句子所叙述的主体,它反映动作的执行者。主语可由名词、代词、数词、不定式、动名词、从句等表示。其中高考热点考查内容如下: 一、考查不定式或动名词作主语 考点说明:不定式或动名词均可以作主语,通常可以通用。 To weigh this stone is not so easy. 要称出这块石头的重量不是很容易。 Speaking in class is really a waste of time. 上课讲话真的是浪费时间。 考点例析: Fishing is his favorite hobby, and ____. (NMET2001上海) A. he’d like to collect coins as well B. he feels like collecting coins, too C. to collect coins is also his hobby D. collecting coins also gives him great pleasure 析:D 分析句子成分可知,该空应先表达主语,可由动名词或不定式担任,但因and具有对称性,所以应用动名词作主语,与前面Fishing动词形式保持一致。 二、考查带逻辑主语的动名词结构作主语 考点说明:带逻辑主语的动名词结构可以作主语,其逻辑主语通常由名词所有格及形容词性物主代词担任。 His sleeping in class made his teacher very angry. 他在课上睡觉使老师很生气。 Wei Fang’s coming to our class made our class come to life. 魏芳的到来使我们班活跃起来。 考点例析: ____ the meeting himself gave them a great deal of encouragement.
