请读下列广告和你自己记的笔记， 你对广告的内容很感兴趣， 但觉得介绍的不太全面，你还应得到更多的信息，请写信给Himalayas Expedition Company。
写作提示：
1. 格式：书信
2. 人称：第一人称为主
3. 时态：一般现在时，一般过去时，一般将来时
4. 短语：first of all首先，第一； a bit一点儿，一些； a lot of许多；how high多高； would like to愿意； how many多少； look forward to盼望； hear from接到……的来信
5. 要点：
(1) 要告诉对方自己是看到广告而得知信息的。
(2) 写信的原因､目的：
a. 你写信告诉他们有关你自己的一些情况， 以便让他们了解你从而判定你是否适合远征。
b. 另外你也需要得到有关喜马拉雅山远征探险的更多的信息， 对于题目中广告旁边的笔记， 如cost， when (开销､时间)等等都应在信件中表达出来。
6. 段落内容：
可分成三段来写：
第一段：交待如何得到信息和为什么写信。
第二段：详细说明写信原因并介绍自己的情况､年龄及远征的经历
等。
第三段：说明写信的第二个原因， 即想进一步了解情况， 如时间､花费､探险队成员的数目以及向导的资历等。
7. 范文：
Dear Sir / Madam，
I saw your advertisement for walking holidays in the Himalayas and would be grateful for some more information.
First of all， I should tell you a bit about myself， so you can decide whether I might be a suitable person to join an expedition like this. I am a teenager and have done quite a lot of long-distance walking， but not very much at high altitudes. How high will the expedition be going？ I think myself to be very fit， so I hope this will not be a problem.
I would like to know more about the expedition. Your advertisement didn’t mention the dates， nor the cost， and obviously these are very important. I am also interested to know something about the group itself —how many people will there be and what qualifications do your guides have？I look forward to hearing from you soon.

8. 语言运用提示：
(1) I should tell you a bit about myself so you can decide whether I might be a suitable person to join an expedition like this.
这是一个并列复合句， so后表示结果的并列分句又是一个含有宾语从句的主从复合句。
(2) I am a teenager and have done quite a lot of long-distance walking， but not very much at high altitudes.
这是一个含有并列谓语的简单句， 前一个谓语为一般现在时，第二个谓语为现在完成时。第二个谓语又含有并列宾语， 在not very much后省略了long-distance walking。
(3) How high will the expedition be going？
这是一个将来进行时的特殊疑问句。将来进行时表示在将来某一时间正在进行的动作，常表示已安排好的事，给人一种期待之感。
(4) Your advertisement didn’t mention the dates， nor the cost， and obviously these are very important.
这是一个并列句。 连词nor表示“也不”，引导的句子要倒装。nor the cost是nor did your advertisement mention the cost的省略。
