none与no one这两个词语在用法上极易混淆，为帮助同学们理解它们，现区别如下：
一、none相当于nobody或nothing，既可指人，也可指物，用于对三者或三者以上的人或物的否定，其后可接of短语；当它作主语时，谓语动词用单、复数均可。例如：
1．None of us are(is)interested in this book．
我们对这本书都不感兴趣。
2．None ofthe food was bad．食物都没有坏。
3．I like none of these books．这些书我都不喜欢。
4．None has arrived yet．还没有人到达。
二、no one相当于nobody,只能指人，不能指物，其后不可接of短语，语气比none更强烈。当它作主语时，谓语动词通常用单数。例如：
1．No one knows where Jack has gone．没有人知道杰克到哪去了。
2．No one likes the film．没有人喜欢那部影片。
三、none用来回答以how many或how much开头的问句；noone用来回答以who开头的问句。例如：
1．How many students are there in the room?房间里有几个人?
None．一个人也没有。
2．Who will go to the party?谁要去参加那个聚会?
No one．没有人。
这里有一“秘诀”，可帮助大家掌握none与no one的用法：
no one与none好分辨，具体人物把nolle添；
回答who用no one，how many/much要用none。
no one一般不与of连，none与of则有缘。

1．How much food have we left?( ).
2．Who is in the office now? ( ).
3．( )is going to give up(放弃)English．
4．How many students are there in the classroom?( )
5．( )of the sheep was lost(丢失)at that moment．
